Step into a New Chapter of Movement

Mosaic Dance Pittsburgh is thrilled to announce our upcoming March–April Belly Dance Series, taking place in our fresh and grounded new home at the Wilkins School Community Center. Whether you are looking to build core strength or explore the cultural artistry of belly dance, these 8-week sessions offer a supportive space for every body.

Special "Try Me" Classes

Curious about the class or the new space? Join us for these Pay-What-You-Can sessions (suggested $7–$20) before the full series begins:

  • Belly Dance Fitness: Monday, March 2nd | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Belly Dance Fundamentals: Thursday, March 5th | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

8-Week Series Details

1. Belly Dance Fitness with Sahra

  • When: Mondays, March 9th – April 27th | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • What: A fitness-fusion class focusing on core strength, technical drills, and combinations. Perfect for those seeking a low-impact workout or a stronger technical foundation.

2. Belly Dance Fundamentals with Sahra

  • When: Thursdays, March 12th – April 30th | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • What: Ideal for beginners or those refining their style. Explore classic belly dance isolations, musicality, and history. This session includes an introduction to finger cymbals (zills available to borrow).

Registration & Pricing

  • Early Bird Flash Sale: $115 for the 8-week series (Register by March 2nd).

  • Standard Series Rate: $130 after March 2nd.

  • Drop-In: $20 per class.

  • First Class Special: New students can enjoy their first drop-in for only $10 during March and April.

How to Register: Advance registration is preferred to secure your spot. Payments can be made via Venmo to @Sahra_Shimmies.

What to Bring: Please wear comfortable clothing (yoga pants and a t-shirt are great) and bring a water bottle.
